Angel's Craft
GOD WILL
RESCUE ME …
A flood was coming and a man said he was not worried because God
would rescue him.
As the flood waters rose a canoe came by and the people in the
canoe said, “Hop in.” The man said,
“No. God will rescue me.” And so the
canoe went away.
The flood waters rose higher and were now covering his front
porch and first floor and a rowboat came by and the people in the rowboat said,
“Hop in.” The man said, “No. God will rescue me.” And so the rowboat went away.
The flood waters rose higher still and now covered the whole
first floor and a small motor boat came by and the people in the motor boat
said, “Hop in.” The man again said,
“No. God will rescue me.” And so the motor boat went away.
The flood waters were now covering the second floor and the man
was forced onto the roof and a yacht came by and the people in the yacht said,
“Hop in.” Once again the man said,
“No. God will rescue me.” And so the yacht went away.
The flood waters rose more and now the man was clinging to his
chimney when a helicopter came by and the people in the helicopter said, “Hop
in.” The man again said, “No. God will rescue me.” And so the helicopter flew away.
The man drowned.
Upon reaching heaven the irate man went up to God and yelled at
him and said, “Why didn’t you rescue me?”
God replied, “Who do you think sent all those boats and the
helicopter?”

will help those who need it but you have to help yourself too. He cannot do all the work for you. Don't miss out on assistance because it
